It’s almost time to celebrate the Week of the Young Child from April 8 – 12, 2019!

The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to put a spotlight on our youngest learners and their families, teachers, and communities.

NAEYC assigns the dates and daily themes, the actual celebrations are all about what local early childhood programs come up with to enjoy the themes and celebrate the week. This year’s themes are:

• Music Monday
• Tasty Tuesday
• Work Together Wednesday
• Artsy Thursday
• Family Friday
